There are a number of mafia’s. They operate in their own countries as well as here. The American mafia, the Mexican mafia, the Russian mafia, the Asian mofia just to mentioned a few. <br /><br /> These organizations have a lot of power with roots in our political system. Some of the current drug cartels in South America have hit squads on judges who try to end their activities. <br /><br /> It will be very hard to root them out and put them in jail where they belong. This will probably have to be a job for government agencies such as the FBI, CIA etc..
